Wholehearted Wellness cares about your trust as much as your inbox. This policy explains, in plain words, what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Wholehearted Wellness is a faith based ministry for Christian women, offering devotionals, encouragement, and resources at whwellness.org. Wholehearted Wellness is operated by Wholehearted Wellness LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. Our mailing address is 800 E Rochambeau Drive, Suite F, PMB 279, Williamsburg, VA 23185.

What we collect

We only ask for what we need.

When you sign up for a free resource or our emails: your name and email address. This includes the Coming Back to Yourself free guide and waitlists such as The Peace Reset.
When you contact us: your email address and the message you write. If you share a prayer request or a personal struggle, it is read only by our team, for the purpose of responding to you and praying for you. We never publish prayer requests or share them without your permission.
When you buy a product on our website: your email address and your order details. The payment details you enter at checkout go directly to Stripe, which processes the payment. We never see or store your full card number.
When you buy from our Etsy shop: Etsy collects and handles your order information under Etsy's own privacy policy. We receive the order details we need to fulfill your purchase.
When you use the Wholehearted Devotional App: your email address and account details if you create an account, plus information about how you use the app. See the app section below.
When you visit the site: basic information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the site that sent you here, your general location (city or country), and your device and browser type. This comes from cookies and similar tools, explained below.
When you open our emails: our email provider records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we know what is helpful.

How we use your information

To send you the free guide you asked for and the 7 day email journey that comes with it.
To send our newsletter and occasional encouragement, new resources, and news about Wholehearted Wellness products.
To deliver products you buy, send receipts, and help if something goes wrong with an order.
To reply to your messages and pray for the requests you share.
To understand which pages and emails are helpful, so we can serve you better.
To keep the site and forms safe from spam and misuse.

Buying a product does not add you to our email list unless you tick the box at checkout to join.

Who helps us (our service providers)

We use a few trusted services to run Wholehearted Wellness. They handle your information on our behalf and only for these purposes.

MailerLite hosts our website, signup forms, contact form, checkout pages, and email list, and sends our emails.
Stripe processes payments.
Google Analytics shows us how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and how people found us.
Google reCAPTCHA helps block spam on our contact form.
Microsoft OneDrive is sometimes used to share purchased files with you when another delivery method is not available.
Etsy runs our Etsy shop at wholeheartedwellco.etsy.com. Purchases made there are covered by Etsy's own privacy policy.
Emergent hosts our devotional app, and PostHog provides the app's usage analytics.

We never sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Your email choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you from our list, and you can do it anytime. We honor unsubscribe requests right away, and always within 10 business days. Our emails also include our mailing address and come from a real address you can reply to.

Your right to see, correct, or delete your information

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email hello@whwellness.org with your request. We will reply within 30 days. We may keep basic purchase records if the law requires it for tax or accounting.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files your browser saves when you visit a website. We use them to understand how the site is used and to make our forms work. Specifically:

Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and show us which pages are read most. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's free browser add on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
MailerLite uses cookies and similar tools to run our forms and pages and to connect site visits with email activity.
Google reCAPTCHA uses cookies to tell people from spam bots on the contact form.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some forms may not.

Some links on our Resources page are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon may use cookies to track that the purchase came from our link.

The Wholehearted Devotional App

Our devotional app at app.whwellness.org is part of Wholehearted Wellness.

Your account: if you create an account, the app keeps your email address and the account details you provide, so you can sign in and use the app.
Hosting: the app is built on and hosted by Emergent, which sets cookies to recognize your visit and keep your session working.
Analytics: the app uses PostHog analytics, which can record how you move through and use the app, such as screens viewed, taps, and session activity. It may also note your device and browser type. We use this only to understand and improve the app.

How long we keep information

We keep your subscriber information for as long as you stay on our list. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it within 30 days, except that we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so you are never emailed again by mistake. We keep purchase records for 7 years for tax and accounting. We keep contact messages and prayer requests for up to one year, only as long as needed to respond and pray.

Keeping information safe

We use trusted providers that protect your information with secure connections. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.

Children

Wholehearted Wellness is written for adult women. Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, please email hello@whwellness.org and we will delete it.

If you live outside the United States

Wholehearted Wellness is based in the United States, and our providers may store information in the United States and other countries. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or move your information, and to object to or limit how we use it. We send emails because you asked for them (your consent), and you can withdraw that consent anytime by unsubscribing. We use analytics and spam protection to run and protect the site (our legitimate interests). If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Wholehearted Wellness grows. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will let subscribers know by email.
